From Sound to Source: A Journey of Leadership, Creativity, and Service
I have always believed that music carries more than just sound - it carries intention. For me, this journey began in 1996, when my older brother blessed me with a pair of turntables and a mixer. That gift sparked a lifelong love of rhythm, flow, and connection. For over a decade, I DJ’d at house parties and small clubs around Los Angeles, learning how to move people—first with beats, later with words and ideas.
But the path of an artist-entrepreneur isn’t easy. In 2007, after becoming certified in audio engineering, I co-founded an A/V rentals company to support the music events I hosted. It was a crash course in business—contracts, logistics, late nights, and lessons learned the hard way.
After five years of trial and error, I discovered a mentorship program that changed everything. For the first time, business felt aligned with heart. Under strong mentorship, I immersed myself in leadership, marketing, and finance. My dedication led me to become Marketing Director for a financial services firm, where I trained others to build businesses grounded in education and integrity.
Still, something deeper was calling. I realized that the tools I was teaching sales teams—clarity, structure, mindset, and communication—were the very skills that many small business owners, spiritual practitioners, and creatives in my own community needed most. So in 2018, I answered that call, returning to my creative roots through video production. I began using the camera not just to capture stories, but to illuminate purpose.
Today, I serve as one of the lead camera operators and assistant video directors for Agape International Spiritual Center. I also work with 7 Pointed Star Ministries, I’m Keeping True Ministry, and most recently Pasadena New Thought Center building their online presence — all roles rooted in my devotion to service, excellence, and spiritual alignment.
Through The Sound Investors, I now integrate everything I've learned—music, business, media, and ministry—into one mission:
to help people master self, build systems, and circulate their gifts for the good of all.
Every project, every workshop, every video is an act of gratitude to Spirit, which guides my path.
Because when we align with Spirit, our lives become the soundtrack of transformation—and that’s the sound worth amplifying.
